The Bali Gospel is an independent travel publication covering Balinese culture, food, stays and island life. We are published by Little Dragon Media.
What we cover
Ten editorial pillars, from sacred stories and island life to stays, dining, wellness and the practicalities of living here. We write for people who want more than a shortlist: where to go, what it costs, and why it matters.
We go there
No article is written from a desk in another country. If we recommend a warung, someone on this masthead has eaten in it.
We name the price
Rupiah first, with a US dollar equivalent. Entry fees, drive times and seasons are checked, and dated when they matter.
We disclose
Where a link earns us a commission, it says so. Sponsored work is labelled on the page and never shapes unpaid coverage.
How we report
Bali changes quickly. A cafe that was quiet in April is queueing by July, and a road that took thirty minutes takes ninety in high season. We revisit and update rather than let a guide quietly rot, and every planning article carries the date it was last checked.
Corrections
If we have got something wrong, tell us and we will fix it, visibly. Accuracy matters more to us than looking right.
Work with us
Pitch a story, or partner with us
We commission writers who know the island first-hand, and we work with brands who understand the difference between advertising and editorial.
